Photo of the Day: Flooding in Cambodia

*Guest blog by Michael Tomascik, Public Affairs team, Ottawa

Every day, we publish a photo to show Red Cross at work across the country or around the world. Do you have a photo to share? Let us know!

In this photo, a girl sits in a bucket as her sister pushes it through flood waters on a street in Kandal province, Cambodia. Flooding in the region has resulted in the loss of 207 lives, and is Cambodia’s biggest hit due to flooding in about a decade. Local Red Cross teams are hard at work responding to the situation.
