Full Rules and Conditions:
 
By entering the How well do you know the Canadian Red Cross? Contest, entrants agree to abide by the terms herein and will be deemed to have received, understood and accepted these terms by participating in the Contest. The decisions of The Canadian Red Cross Society with respect to all aspects of the Contest are final.
 
Eligibility:
 
To be eligible to enter the Contest you must (i) have reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside (ii) reside within Canada (iii) not be an employee of the Canadian Red Cross or on the board of directors.
 
Entry
 
Submissions to enter the contest may be made by:
(1)   Completing the online quiz and filling out the necessary fields with applicant contact information
(2)   Contacting WeCare@redcross.ca and requesting an entry be submitted.
(3)   Submitting a written and mailed entry to:

Contest Period:
 
Entries will be accepted beginning March 1, 2016 12:00:00 a.m. EST until March 31, 2016 (the “Contest Period”).
 
Geographic Limitation:
 
Submissions will be accepted from anywhere within Canada during the Contest Period.
 
Prizes Available:
 
Prizes available include:
 
·          1 Red Cross First Aid Kit, valued at $CDN34.95 (the “Prize”.)
 
Selection of the Winners & Awarding of Prizes:
 
A random draw will be conducted on April 1, 2016 to select the winning entry. The prize winner will be contacted by email to arrange for shipment of the first aid kit. If the entrant does not respond within three (3) business days, or declines the prize, they will be disqualified and another participant will be randomly selected. This process will continue until all prizes have been awarded. Prizes will be mailed out within 4 weeks of March 31, 2016.
 
If for any reason there are no eligible entries for the draw, the prize will not be awarded.
 
The Canadian Red Cross Society reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
 
General Rules:
 
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. All decisions of The Canadian Red Cross Society are final and The Canadian Red Cross Society shall not be held responsible for any accident, negligence, printing, administrative or other errors that may arise or occur in connection with the contest with no obligation or liability, subject to applicable law.
 
All entries become the property of The Canadian Red Cross Society, which assumes no responsibility for lost information or for any failure of the postal system during the Contest Period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry, phone message, e-mail or information to be received by The Canadian Red Cross Society on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof.
 
Personal information will only be collected, used and disclosed by The Canadian Red Cross Society and their respective designees for the purpose of administering the Contest in accordance with the rules herein. By entering this Contest, each entrant expressly consents to The Canadian Red Cross Society , its agents and/or representatives, collecting, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted during registration only for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with The Canadian Red Cross Society ’s Privacy Policy (available at www.redcross.ca), unless the entrant otherwise agrees.
 
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing and for greater certainty, by entering the Contest, each
entrant consents to being contacted by The Canadian Red Cross Society  for contest-related purposes, which includes but is not limited to prize eligibility notifications, prize notifications. You may unsubscribe from these notices by emailing WeCare@redcross.ca, in which case your registration in the Contest will be deleted and you will no longer be eligible to play or win unless you re-register.
 
By accepting the Prize, the winner releases and agrees to hold The Canadian Red Cross Society, its directors, employees, volunteers, officers and agents, harmless against any and all manner of action, causes of action, suits, debts, covenants, contracts, claims and demands, including legal fees and expenses, whatsoever, including but not limited to, claims based on negligence, breach of contract and fundamental breach and liability for physical injury, death or property damage which the entrants or his or her administrators, heirs, successors or assigns might have or could have, by reason of or arising out of the entrant's participation in the contest and/or in connection with the acceptance and/or use by the entrant of the prize awarded.

Completing the 5 questions in the quiz will satisfy the skill-testing element in order to accept the prize.

In Quebec, “Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.”
