CRC truckExpenses – Delegates and Facilitators

 
You must conserve and submit your original boarding passes to and from training. Drop off your arrival boarding pass with staff on day 1, email electronic passes to iotraining@redcross.ca and/or mail your return original boarding pass to CRC, 170 Metcalfe, Ottawa, ON K2P 2P2 marking  “Attention: International Operations Training - Sue Cornette”.
 
As accommodation and meals are provided during the entire training, there will be no provision for per diems. For those travelling outside of training dates, specifically our international delegates, CRC will provide accommodation and reimburse meals specific to your flight times upon approval prior to training.
 
We will reimburse taxis used to and from airport to home as required with original receipts. Please refer to expense reimbursement sheet.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  •   Dress Code

 The training is conducted in an informal setting therefore casual attire is deemed the most appropriate form of dress.   

Please refer to the attached packing list

There are no specific dress restrictions except to keep in mind that we represent the RC movement and should always be dressed accordingly.

  •  Code of Conduct

 All delegates will be expected to abide by the Code of Conduct.

During the training the CRC Code of Conduct will be enforced. Any wilful misconduct, disobedience or wilful neglect will result in the parties being removed from the training course.

G. Off Duty Conduct

Employees and volunteers should remember that they may be seen as Red Cross representatives at any time, even when off duty. Off duty activities which, in the absence of reasonable justification, adversely affect staff, volunteers or clients of the Canadian Red Cross, or which, when seen through the eyes of a reasonable observer, discredit Red Cross, are also breaches of the Code of Conduct.
