The 19th edition of the Canadian Red Cross Annual Fundraising Event took place on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal, with the theme "A Gift of Humanity". It was co-chaired by Mr. Martin Imbleau and the Montreal Port Authority, by Ms. Karine Abgrall-Teslyk, Executive Vice-President, Head of Personal Banking, Laurentian Bank, Mr. Olivier Lemire, President, Keurig Dr Pepper Canada, and Mr. Paul C. Genest, Senior Vice-President, Power Corporation of Canada.
This year, the gala, our organization's largest philanthropic event in Canada, brought together close to 400 guests from the business community, all committed to supporting the Canadian Red Cross in the pursuit of its activities in Canada and around the world. Together, they raised $900,750 for the organization's humanitarian mission. The money collected will go to the Canadian Red Cross emergency fund, helping people and communities in need in Canada and around the world.
The Red Cross would like to thank its honorary co-chair, its partners and all those who gave a gift of humanity, without whom the evening would not have been such a success. The organization would also like to acknowledge the important contribution of its dedicated staff and volunteers.
Thank you sincerely for supporting the mission of the Canadian Red Cross, and we look forward to seeing you next year for an outstanding 20th edition!
