World First Aid Day

First aid saves lives

World First Aid Day is celebrated each year on the first Saturday in September. The annual campaign aims to promote the importance of first aid training in preventing injuries and saving lives.

This World First Aid Day, the Canadian Red Cross is calling on all Canadians to ensure they have the the knowledge and skills to respond to emergencies in their homes, workplaces, and communities

First aid training provides more than the knowledge and skills to effectively respond – it also provides the confidence to act when needed. Red Cross First Aid offers a wide variety of first aid and CPR training courses, preparing Canadians to act on, prevent, and respond to life’s emergencies.
