Canadian Red Cross help completing applications for the Disaster Recovery Program

In partnership with the Government of Alberta, the Canadian Red Cross is pleased to offer help completing applications for the province’s Disaster Recovery Program (DRP) to people affected by the recent Fort McMurray and area floods.
 
The DRP is a financial assistance program offered by the Government of Alberta that may help cover uninsurable loss and damage after emergencies and disasters.
 
All residents who experienced home, business or property damage and have uninsurable losses as a result of April flooding in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and Mackenzie County are encouraged to apply to the Government of Alberta’s Disaster Recovery Program.
 
The Government of Alberta’s application deadline is September 6, 2020.
