Help keep your organization and your community safer through the Stop the Spread and Stay Safe! program: COVID-19 Screening for Community Organizations

Your organization can gain access to easy and free tests to implement as part of a screening program to mitigate risk to your staff and the community your organization supports. You will also be contributing to the collective response to COVID-19 through screening and rapid action.

Why participate?

  • This is a simple and easy way to consistently screen your personnel to stop the spread and help keep them safe. Consistent and frequent screening allows your organization to detect potential COVID-19 cases in 15 minutes.
  • Screening your personnel gives the people you serve and your wider community greater confidence in the services you are providing.
  • A screening program using rapid antigen tests is one of the tools, used with masks, hand-washing, social distancing, and cleaning protocols, that can reduce the spread of COVID-19. Even with vaccination, testing is critical to early detection and mitigations to reduce individual and collective risk.
  • This program will help contribute to Canada’s collective COVID-19 response through implementation and reporting back on results.

If you're a charity, a non-profit or an Indigenous community organization with five (5) personnel (staff and volunteers) who work in close proximity to each other or have direct contact with community members,  you can apply now!
