2018 British Columbia Fires

Thanks to the generosity of Canadians and the Government of B.C., the Canadian Red Cross continues to provide assistance to individuals and communities impacted by the 2018 wildfires.

Support for Individuals and Families

Red Cross community outreach teams will continue to meet with individuals and families who were evacuated due to the 2018 wildfires and who are in need of assistance.  Through confidential one-on-one assessment Red Cross is able to provide referrals to support services and may be able to provide financial assistance for basic needs such as food, clothing, medical supplies, fridges, freezers and fuel to heat homes.
