GENERAL INFORMATION

  •   Dress Code

The training is conducted in an informal setting therefore casual attire is deemed the most appropriate form of dress.

Please refer to the attached packing list.

There are no specific dress restrictions except to keep in mind that we represent the RC movement and should always be dressed accordingly.

  •  Code of Conduct

All delegates will be expected to abide by the Code of Conduct.

During the training the CRC Code of Conduct will be enforced. Any wilful misconduct, disobedience or wilful neglect will result in the parties being removed from the training course.

2.2 CRC Code of Conduct

G. Off Duty Conduct

Employees and volunteers should remember that they may be seen as Red Cross representatives at any time, even when off duty. Off duty activities which, in the absence of reasonable justification, adversely affect staff, volunteers or clients of the Canadian Red Cross, or which, when seen through the eyes of a reasonable observer, discredit Red Cross, are also breaches of the Code of Conduct.

  • Training appraisal

At the ERU Management training, we will be appraising the participants as we would on an ERU mission based on CRC core competencies model. The objectives will be presented at the beginning of the training. The appraisal is filled out by the facilitator and the participant in collaboration on the last day of the training. Discussions will allow facilitators and participants to establish interests in training/engagement opportunities in the future with the ERU roster.
