  • More than 3,000 households in Canada received assistance following a personal disaster, such as a house fire
  • 57,000 Canadians assisted
  • More than 12,000 engaged volunteers
  • More than 2.3 million assisted globally
  • More than 100 Canadian experts deployed to 35 countries
  • 1 field hospital Emergency Response Unit (ERU) and cholera treatment centre deployed to Mozambique, plus ongoing support for 1 field hospital ERU in Bangladesh and support for 1 public heath ERU in the Democratic Republic of Congo
  • 1.2 million Canadians took Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety courses
  • 577,000 Canadians took Red Cross First Aid courses
  • More than 12,700 people reached in disaster preparedness awareness
  • More than 642,000 children, youth and adults attended violence, bullying and abuse prevention workshops in Canada
  • More than 600,000 hours of home support for seniors and recovering patients
  • Loaned more than 291,000 pieces of health equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, crutches, etc.)
