Duct tape wallets, handmade dog biscuits and soap as well as homemade terrariums are just few of the items participants from the Next Great Entrepreneur Summer Camps at SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary manufactured and sold to raise money for two charitable causes: Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods Fund ($664.85) and The Alberta Children’s Hospital $(345.35).

Campers, ranging from grades 4 to 9, dressed in blazers and went all out in an effort to make a difference. They voted on the charities that would receive the funds, and the Canadian Red Cross won by a landslide.

Even the Donald would be proud as these young entrepreneurs managed to raise a total of over $1000.
