Last week, volunteer Mary-Jane Dawson was awarded the Canadian Red Cross' highest honour, the Order of the Red Cross, for her outstanding humanitarian service, dedication, and achievement. Sara Fowler, a member of the Red Cross' National Board of Governors, presented her the award at a volunteer appreciation event held in Edmonton.

Mary-Jane has served for more than 10 years as Regional Council Member and was a Governor for the Canadian Red Cross and a member of the Society’s National Audit and Finance Committee.
