Today marks the second anniversary of the outbreak of violence in Syria. The ICRC reports that humanitarian needs are greater than ever as civilians continue to bear the brunt of the on-going armed conflict. In this photo, people are gathered outside a warehouse where the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the ICRC distributed food parcels to several thousand people. The ICRC also shared these images illustrating the daily reality for civilians in Syria.
