Red Cross volunteers at Point Lepreau exercise

While a real disaster was keeping Canadian Red Cross disaster response volunteers busy in flooded Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, a scheduled emergency exercise at the Point Lepreau Generating Station went ahead as planned last week. Red Crossers did what they do best: they worked as a team to get everything done. Here's a fun group photo of Red Cross volunteers participating in the Point Lepreau exercise which serves as training for emergency response personnel from numerous government and community agencies. Many of these volunteers also supported the relief efforts in Perth-Andover.
