Buckles’ great golfing adventure

Our water safety mascot Buckles was a hit at the first annual Canadian Red Cross charity golf tournament in Calgary on Thursday. Buckles' unusual one-arm swing was just one of the highlights of the day.

The tournament took place at the prestigious Cottonwood Golf and Country Club in Dewinton, Alberta and raised funds to support local Red Cross programs.

It was a fun-filled day of golfing, activities and strange pants that ended with a fabulous Alberta-style banquet.

Six golfers took their best shot in the one million dollar hole-in-one shootout. Better luck next year guys!

The charity golf season is just starting. If you want to get in on the fun, you can sign up for the Edmonton golf tournament on August 22.
