While many of us celebrated Canada Day at neighbourhood BBQs, Canadian Red Cross delegate Elaine Hernandez, celebrated with a pancake breakfast with the Honduras Red Cross. In attendance was the President of Honduras, the Minister of Health and the Canadian Ambassador. The breakfast, a fundraiser for the Canadian Red Cross Mother Child Health program, raised over $1700 to support the work of local Red Cross community health volunteers.
