Photo of the Day: Faces of Chad

*Guest entry by Michael Tomascik, Public Affairs team, Ottawa

Every day, we publish a photo to show Red Cross at work across the country or around the world. Do you have a photo to share? Let us know!

Canadian Red Cross delegate, James Shaw, poses with some local children in front of a variety store in the village of Abrech in Chad. His deployment with the Emergency Response Unit (ERU) to this region north of Mongo involved providing cholera treatment, relief services and other forms of assistance. The Red Cross of Chad, supported by the IFRC, has sent almost 1,000 volunteers into communities to spread the word about how to stop the cholera epidemic and to provide relief.
