Omar Ali Alomar


Omar lives in British Columbia and joined the Canadian Red Cross a little over a year ago, volunteering with data entry and processing medical equipment.

Omar holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He spent 15 years as a councelor to the Minister of Justice, and now provides technical advice and develops applications for a software company.
 
Human rights is near and dear to Omar’s heart.He has supported the charitable work of various organizations such as the British Columbia Human Rights Organization.
 
As a new volunteer of the Canadian Red Cross, he can bring a new perspective on the impact that the organization has on communities. By becoming a National Member, Omar is hoping to add to the diversity and inclusion lenses in the Membership of the organization.
