Pascal Mathieu – VP Quebec

Pascal Mathieu is the Canadian Red Cross Vice President for Quebec.  He joined the organization in 2003 as a member of the Quebec fundraising team. With a wealth of experience in philanthropy and management, he helped develop the annual fundraising event in 2005 and served as Director of Philanthropy before taking the lead of our operations in Quebec.

After studying marketing management at HEC Montréal, Pascal got his start in philanthropy in 1998 with Cystic Fibrosis Quebec, which provides assistance to young people with cystic fibrosis. His duties involved participating in a variety of fundraising campaigns, including direct marketing campaigns, and organizing public and corporate events.

He is committed to environmental protection and is a board member at the Fondation québécoise en environnement (Quebec Environment Foundation), which focuses part of its efforts on fighting climate change. This is a concern shared by the Red Cross, which is increasingly called upon to respond to disasters caused by climate change.

Pascal is originally from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region of Quebec. After spending many years in Montreal, he now lives in the Greater Quebec City area with his wife.
