The Canadian Red Cross, along with Presenting Sponsor SaskEnergy, are encouraging the public, schools and businesses to order official Red Cross Day of Pink gear before supplies run out.

“On April 9, 2014, schools, businesses, community groups and organizations across the province will come together to promote respect and raise awareness about the impacts of bullying during Red Cross Day of Pink,” said Richard Kies, Provincial Manager of Fund Development for the Red Cross in Saskatchewan. “If you’re thinking about participating, I encourage you to join us by registering online and buying your pink t-shirts, hats or stickers.”

Last year, the Red Cross sold out of official merchandise, with over 21,000 students and adults participating in the day that aims to raise awareness about bullying issues and what people can do to create safe and respectful environments.

Registration and merchandise orders can be placed online. All proceeds go directly to supporting Red Cross bullying prevention education in Saskatchewan.
