On behalf of our Training Partners, the Canadian Red Cross, Atlantic Canada, is seeking dynamic individuals to deliver Red Cross Injury Prevention training programs in the New Brunswick region.

In this role, you will enjoy flexible part-time hours while working to help people learn how to respond to emergency situations in the workplace, home, and community.  
 

Through a clear understanding of Program Standards, you will: 
  • Deliver Canadian Red Cross programs to business groups and individual customers according to national program standards.
  • Ensure the health and safety of participants during training courses.
  • Evaluate course participants based on prescribed performance criteria and provide continuous feedback.
  • Prepare the course facilities, teaching materials and equipment for each course.
  • Submit participant information into Course Manager upon course completion.
Candidates must possess:
  • Strong organizational and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills and demonstrated computer skills
  • A valid driver’s license, a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check is required.
  • Current or previous First Aid Instructor certification with one to three years of related experience will be considered an asset
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete Red Cross Instructor certification prior to employment
  • Fluency in French will be a mandatory requirement in designated locations
