HELP Delivery Assistant

Volunteer Needed – HELP Delivery Assistant
Location: Saint John, NB

Reporting to the local Community Health Co-ordinator this position presents the opportunity to provide excellent service to vulnerable clients. It is a position which requires a passion for helping others, an interest in learning and a clear understanding of outstanding customer service

Duties

Deliver specialized equipment to central, eastern and western NB from Saint John using Red Cross vehicle
Equipment inspection
Maintain equipment cleanliness

Skills Required

Drivers Licence with a clean Drivers Abstract
This position will require moderate to heavy lifting
Friendly, outgoing personality
Willingness and interest in learning
Excellent Customer Service skills
Reliable and good organizational skills

Training Provided

Basic Red Cross Orientation
Introduction to the Red Cross Movement
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS) Course
Training related to cleaning and set up of Specialized Equipment

Time Commitment

7-8 hours per week during regular working hours Monday to Friday.
