What is Introduction to International Humanitarian Law about?
The Introduction to International Humanitarian Law (IHL) training is approximately three hours. The workshop covers the definitions of International Humanitarian Law, looks at its guiding principles and essential rules, and explores the basics of the Geneva Conventions and its Additional Protocols. The workshop's interactive activities apply the Geneva Conventions in case studies, examines the international criminal system and discusses contemporary issues and how international humanitarian law applies.
