BC Southern Interior Region of the Canadian Red Cross extends from 100 Mile House and Blue River south to the U.S. border and from Lillooet and Princeton east to the Alberta border. Our three Service Areas are staffed by professional managers and supported by regional council governance volunteers in each area. The Regional Director may be contacted through the Okanagan Central office in Kelowna.

How We Serve
Each year, with your support, Red Cross programs in BC's Southern Interior touch the lives of more than 75,000 people. Some 37 communities are served by Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) sites managed by dedicated and trained volunteers. Communities throughout the region are supported in their disaster preparedness and disaster response capacity by dedicated volunteers. Thousands of children, youth, parents and other adults are reached annually with vital information to inform their life choices in preventing violence and abuse. Major colleges and other authorized providers feature Red Cross First Aid training. Community recreation centers and other pool facilities feature Red Cross Water Safety through swimming lessons targetted to all age ranges. Red Cross offices across the region provide the outlet for public generosity and compassion locally and globally in times of need. Together, Red Cross volunteers and staff touch the lives of people in our community and around the world.
