
Administrative Support
Program/Department: Fund Development Location: Winnipeg
Purpose:
- Assist the Fund Development Team in organizing donor records, campaigns and providing stewardship.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Disseminate data into stewardship categories.
- Confidently make phone calls to thank donors for their gifts.
- Compose letters and prepare for mail.
- Track campaign results.
- File donor information and cash reports.
Time Commitment:
- Four hours per week or two days per month.
- Commit to a minimum of one year.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Experience with Excel and Word including merging documents.
- Can work independently.
- Experience with the Raiser’s Edge program would be an asset.
Requirements:
- Understand and support the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement.
- Completion of successful Criminal Records and Child Abuse Registry Checks.
- Hold a valid driver’s licence if position requires.
Training & Orientation:
- Intro to Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement.
- Fund Development training as required.
