Thank you to all attendees and supporters for discovering the Power of Humanity and supporting the Canadian Red Cross at the Fort Garry Hotel on May 24, 2012.

Every year, the Canadian Red Cross recognizes citizens in Manitoba who honour the spirit of humanity. Humanitarians give their time and talents, year after year, demonstrating the power of humanity;  leading others to follow in their footsteps and make a difference in the world. At the 2012 gala:

Mr. Albert El Tassi received the Humanitarian Award (sponsored by Manitoba Lotteries) for his commitment to providing support and service to others. As a successful businessman, philanthropist and leader in the Manitoba, Mr. El Tassi’s philanthropic reach touches numerous charities throughout Manitoba and across the world. 

Sierra Noble received the Young Humanitarian Award (sponsored by King's Head Pub and Eatery) for her dedication to helping others, contributing to her community, and providing an excellent example for other youth to follow.

TIckets were $150 each or $1,400 per table of ten. Stay tuned for information on next year's event.
