Walmart Canada
A generous supporter of Canadian communities, Walmart Canada has partnered with the Canadian Red Cross since 2003 to provide Disaster Relief to communities in need and to promote Disaster Preparedness across the country. As our largest corporate partner, an incredible $19.2 million has been donated by Walmart and its customers since the partnership began.
Beyond Walmart’s financial contributions, they also provide Red Cross blankets for families in need, and are always the first company to open their doors and provide in-kind donations of clothes and food among other items when a disaster strikes a community.

RBC Foundation
Since 2002, The RBC Foundation and the Canadian Red Cross have partnered to build stringer Canadian communities. Through RBC’s support of the Canadian Red Cross’ Personal Disaster Assistance program (PDA), families all across Canada receive assistance after smaller-scale disasters, such as house fires. When a family is left without shelter and all their possessions have been lost, RBC’s generous support allows the Red Cross to arrange for shelter, blankets and comfort and hygiene kits for the family. During times of disaster, the Canadian Banker’s Association arranges for its member banks to open their doors and accept much needed donations for the Canadian Red Cross. Since 2004, over $23 million has been brought in thanks to the CBA and member banks’ support of the Canadian Red Cross.
