RONA Customers Support Canadian Red Cross Disaster Services
RONA, Canadian leading distributor and retailer of hardware, home improvement and gardening products, is holding a special fundraising drive in support of Canadian Red Cross programs from April 3rd to
April 25th.
The theme of the campaign is “When a whole life has to be rebuilt, your $2 gift helps people here at home.”
For the next two weeks, RONA customers across Canada will be invited to add an additional $2 donation to their final bill. The funds collected will support Red Cross disaster services in communities from coast to coast.
Participating customers will be encouraged to write their name on a special sticker in the shape of a RONA delivery truck, and to post their sticker at the store entrance to demonstrate their support of this effort.
Red Cross volunteers will be involved in various ways at different stores, offering information on Red Cross programs and services, disaster preparedness, and more. Please check with your local Red Cross office or participating RONA store for details.
RONA is an important partner for the Canadian Red Cross. RONA supports the Red Cross in many ways including cash donations, free clean up kits that help Canadian families to get back on their feet and back into their homes after an emergency, and special fundraising drives such as the one launched this week. The Canadian Red Cross is deeply grateful to RONA and its customers. Their generous support allows us to help those in need and makes our community-based programs possible.
