We are, all of us, inundated daily by news of devastation a nd tragedy—from tsunamis and earthquakes and diseases and drought, from armed conflict and from interpersonal violence. But this issue of Prevention Nexus focuses on the work that is being done to heal the wounds, to bridge the gaps, to foster prevention and to celebrate the resilient human spirit.
