Tipi Transfer: A Tipi of Courage Event
On Wednesday, September 12, 2012 the Canadian Red Cross came together at Shaw Millennium Park in Calgary to host a successful Tipi Transfer for the Tipi of Courage project. The Tipi of Courage is a community-based project that is both taught by and attended by local aboriginal peoples. The main goal of this project is to educate and empower these individuals to make healthier and safer choices that will ultimately aid in better quality of life. more |

Walmart Canada Launches Annual Campaign for Canadian Red Cross
Walmart Canada stores across the province launch their annual campaign August 2, 2012 to raise much needed funds for the Canadian Red Cross disaster preparedness and response activities. The month-long campaign, which ends August 26th, will run in all 333 Walmart locations across the country. more
