The Legacy Club
The Legacy Club belongs to dedicated supporters of the Canadian Red Cross who want to help us be there for future generations. These supporters have made a commitment to the Society and its humanitarian principles through their Will, or through an annuity or life insurance policy.
When you include a legacy gift for the Canadian Red Cross in your estate plan, you will be invited to join our Legacy Club. You will also receive an exclusive lapel pin designed and reserved for those who are helping us build a bridge of hope to the future. By wearing the pin, you demonstrate your pride in this commitment to Red Cross and you encourage others to follow your example.
Your name will also be placed on our national “Legacy Honour Roll” to commemorate your generous support. And as a member of the Club, you will receive information about Red Cross activities, programs and services, as well as informative updates on developments in estate planning and tax laws.
If you prefer, your commitment to the Canadian Red Cross can remain confidential. However, we still would still like to know about your intention to leave a bequest to Red Cross. This allows us to maintain accurate records, and to show our appreciation privately.
There are many ways to leave a lasting legacy to Red Cross. Discussions with your legal or financial advisor, your family and a Financial Development Officer from the Canadian Red Cross can help you determine which option is best for you.
