Red Cross volunteers participated in Safety Days in Halifax. |
| The Canadian Red Cross joined with Home Depot stores across the country in June to help make Canadian kids safer. The “Safety Days” event allowed parents to gather crucial data on making their homes and families as safe as possible, while kids were kept busy with activities. In most locations, Home Depot stores provided identification booklets and took Polaroid photos of children to include in the booklets.
Red Cross displays in 40 stores featured information on personal disaster preparedness and abuse and violence prevention programming.
