This community-based, volunteer-run program provides short-term loans of basic health equipment, by donation, to those recovering from surgery or injury, or living with mobility limitations. Last year, over 350 volunteers served 25,000 clients, providing over 54,000 pieces of equipment.

Referrals from a health care professional are required for all items.

The Red Cross is pleased to offer HELP Plus to residents in the Fraser Health area. The program provides short term loans of specialized equipment such as mechanical lifts, hospital beds, and floor to ceiling poles.
