Things to remember about our financial assistance:

• Financial assistance is granted one-time only
• Assistance is not required to be paid back
• Assistance offered is typically only a portion of the amount requested
• If funding is approved, all cheques are made payable to a third party (landlord, utility company, social agency, etc.)
• At the end of a tenancy, landlords are asked that any security depost funds paid by Red Cross be returned back to the program
