The Lower Mainland Region of the Canadian Red Cross serves BC residents from the Greater Vancouver area, North to Sechelt, Squamish and Pemberton, East to the Fraser Valley, Boston Bar and Hope, and South to the U.S. border.
Our Mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilizing the power of humanity, in Canada and around the world.
How we serve
Volunteers are the backbone of the Red Cross – and in the Lower Mainland, more than 800 contribute their time to support the delivery of humanitarian programs and services.
Volunteers govern the direction of the Society – both nationally and locally. Here in the Lower Mainland, 10 members sit on our Regional Council:
