In late June and early July, widespread flooding caused nearly 50 municipalities and communities to declare a state of local emergency. With parts of Manitoba seriously affected by flooding due to excessive rainfall, the Canadian Red Cross provided immediate assistance to those people who were forced out of their homes or faced the flooding.
Red Cross provided personal care items for people displaced from their homes as well as clean-up kits and recovery assistance to help Manitobans deal with the effects of flooding in their homes.
Thanks to your generous donations, the Canadian Red Cross is helping the families in these areas recover quickly and with dignity.
