The Red Cross launches grant program to help flood-affected Saskatchewan communities

(Regina, Sept. 22, 2014) Communities in southeast Saskatchewan that were devastated by the summer floods can now apply to receive help to recover through the Canadian Red Cross Community Projects Grant Program.

(Regina, Sept. 17, 2014) Regina resident Victor Thomas received the Order of Red Cross on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the Inaugural RED Gala, which raised $250,000 for the Red Cross in Saskatchewan.

(Saskatoon, Sept. 15, 2014) North Battleford resident, Rose Benson, received the Order of Red Cross at a ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014. 

Walmart, RBC and BMO support Red Cross response to flooding in Saskatchewan and Manitoba

National corporate partners like Walmart Canada and RBC; and corporate donors like BMO are helping the Canadian Red Cross assist those affected by flooding in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Walmart is providing water and clean up supplies to meet immediate needs; RBC is accepting donations at Saskatchewan and Manitoba locations and has made a $30,000 donation. BMO has announced a $25,000 donation to help the response.
