The annual Canadian Red Cross fundraising event

The Red Cross, a Humanitarian Port of Call

Once again this year, the Canadian Red Cross was there for all those in need. For thousands of people who were affected by unprecedented floods in Quebec, for those who fled the devastating wildfires in British Columbia, and for countless individuals who experienced a house fire, an extended power outage or even a tornado. When disaster strikes, flood waters, fire and wind carve deep scars, leaving those affected in a very vulnerable state. In these difficult times, the Red Cross is always there to help, acting as a kind of humanitarian port of call where disaster-impacted people can recharge and regain their strength to return to a normal life.

On May 30, 2018, you are cordially invited to support the Red Cross and ensure as many vulnerable people as possible will benefit from a comforting port of call.

The 14th annual fundraising event will be held on May 30, 2018, at the Old Port of Montreal’s Alexandra Pier and will be co-chaired by Darryl White, Chief Executive Officer, BMO Financial Group, and Eric R. La Flèche, President and Chief Executive Officer, Metro Inc.
