In 2005, the Ontario Government passed the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The goal of this Act is to make goods, services, facilities, accommodation, employment, buildings, structures and premises in Ontario accessible to people with disabilities by 2025.

The Canadian Red Cross has developed its own policy to assist in complying with this Act. Members of the public are welcome to review the Canadian Red Cross AODA Policy.

The Red Cross strives to improve its accessibility for its customers with disabilities and welcomes any comments, questions and suggestions. Please call 1-866-284-7015 or go to to share your comments.
