Meeting Curriculum Competencies for Social and Community Health and Mental Well-Being


The Canadian Red Cross would like to invite you to attend this complimentary, one-day, ERAC-certified Health Youth Relationships workshop. This training will help Planning and PHE 10 teachers meet the curriculum competencies for:
 
  • Developing healthy relationships
  • Responding to unsafe situations
  • Managing conflict
  • Awareness of personal boundaries
  • Skills in decision-making, communication, and critical thinking
  • Analyzing the risks of technology and the impacts of sexual interactions online
As part of the workshop, Red Cross will provide teachers with grade-level lesson plans to deliver the content to their students in a flexible, adaptable format.

Date: Saturday, September 16, 2017, 9am—4pm (PDT)

Location: Canadian Red Cross, 3400 Lake City Way, Burnaby, BC.
