Internet Connectivity

Red Cross online courses are posted on a web-based learning centre, “Red Cross OnLine”, which is accessed from an Internet browser such as Internet Explorer. These courses frequently use content, such as audio and video clips, that require a high-speed (broadband) connection, such as cable, DSL, T1 or other high speed network. The minimum system requirement is a 1Mb Cable/DSL line connection; however system performance may be compromised. High-speed connections are provided by telecommunication and cable companies, and are often standard in workplace environments, educational institutions, public libraries and other community centres.
