The Canadian Red Cross is assisting residents of several New Brunswick communities impacted by Spring 2012 flooding. Your financial donation will help with immediate disaster relief such as emergency sheltering and, subject to available funds, additional aid for the most vulnerable such as seniors and others on limited incomes to ease some of the financial hardship resulting from flood damage to their homes. Aid from the Canadian Red Cross is structured to not duplicate other programs, such as the publicly funded Disaster Financial Assistance program announced by the Province of New Brunswick, or private insurance.
