 “Male Sunrise” – Male, the capital of the Maldives, is where the Canadian Red Cross delegation is based, though much of the operations are on 74 islands north and south of Male. |
 Mosque - Maldives is a Muslim country made up of 1190 islands, of which only 200 are inhabited. |
“Tilafushi Island” - All the waste from Male and many other islands is deposited on Tilafushi Island, where most of the Tsunami waste will end up. |
