What We Support

South Sudan Red Cross community health workers

Tiffany Circle members support the priorities of the Canadian Red Cross and have so far contributed over $5.3-million to those critical areas. The impact this support has had within Canada and around the world has been felt by thousands.

Where the Need is Greatest
There is great urgency whenever the Red Cross responds to a humanitarian crisis. Undesignated donations allow the Canadian Red Cross flexibility to rapidly respond in the most effective ways when people need assistance immediately.

Disaster Management
Disasters big and small happen every day. From an ice storm in Southern Ontario to  wildfires in British Columbia, the Red Cross is able to respond within hours with life-saving aid, shelter, water and essentials thanks to generous donors.

International Efforts
Sometimes, people are vulnerable simply by virtue of where they live or where they were born. Canadian Red Cross’ ongoing international work focuses on partnerships with other national Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, where we are able to transfer expertise in a wide variety of fields such as community health, personal preparedness, and volunteer training.

Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (MNCH)
The Red Cross saves the lives of women and children across the Americas, Africa and Asia. In the past decade alone, Canadian Red Cross MNCH programs have reached more than 13 million mothers and their children in 24 countries.

Community Health and Wellness
All Canadians deserve to remain living in their homes safely and with dignity. The Canadian Red Cross provides innovative and compassionate Community Health and Wellness programs such as health equipment loans, home care and transportation.
