How do you sport it?

The best way to enjoy summer is to get out on the water and play. The equipment needed varies by sport, but there is one thing that can be used across the board – a lifejacket. How do you sport it?

Wearing a PFD or lifejacket can help keep kids safe around the open water. Active adult supervision is also key.

Lifejackets come in many styles to accommodate sports such as kayaking.

A guide to finding the perfect fit:

  • Lifejackets should not ride up on the body in the water and should fit snuggly
  • If your mouth is not well above the water you need a life jacket with more buoyancy
  • The tag on the side of your lifejacket specifies the weight range for their wearer – be sure it matches your weight
