For 150 years, the ICRC has been providing medical care in times of war or conflict. Providing heath care in conflict can be both difficult and dangerous. Teams are forced to work in the best conditions they can find which sometimes lack basic equipment, electricity, and water and health care workers and facilities are sometimes targets of violence.
