All week, Red Cross volunteers have been reaching out in communities affected by flooding in southern Alberta. Yesterday, a Red Cross team went to Sunnyside, a neighbourhood in Calgary and found residents actively cleaning up homes and helping one another.

Red Cross volunteers went door to door to meet with residents and assess the needs in that neighbourhood. They distributed some supplies and also provided some important disaster recovery information to residents.

We wanted to share a few photos from cleanup efforts in Sunnyside.
