Canadian Red Cross volunteers and staff from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia proudly wore their Red Cross colours as they took part in the region's annual South Shore Exhibition Parade a few weeks ago. Volunteers put together this impressive float to represent the various Red Cross programs and services offered in their community, from short-term loans of PFDs and healthcare equipment, to the comforting blankets volunteers hand out to people affected by disasters such as house fires.
