We’re often sharing stories and photos of Canadian Red Cross volunteers at work on our blog, but this is an opportunity for volunteers from around the world to tell their own story through photos.
To mark World Red Cross Red Crescent Day on May 8, the the IFRC is inviting Red Cross and Red Crescent volunteers to show their passion for the movement through photography.
To participate in the project, volunteers can follow these three simple steps:
1. Take a great photo that demonstrates your work, effect or passion for the Red Cross Red Crescent movement.
2. Upload your picture in the comments section of the IFRC blog with a caption that describes the photo.
3. Share your photo with friends and family on Facebook, Twitter and Google +.
On May 8, the IFRC will publish an online photo exhibit on their blog and on their website. We look forward to seeing your photos.
Happy National Volunteer Week!
