Similar to the Global Issues Symposium for Youth held in BC, youth in Ontario also held a youth leadership conference in Toronto recently.
A group of Ontario youth attended the conference and discussed what it means to be a Canadian Red Cross youth. The focus of the conference was “YOUnity”, the idea that youth are the future and with unity they can all work together towards a common goal. The conference allowed the youth to network with one another and recognize the opportunities that the Red Cross offers for youth in their own communities and around the world.
